About
Attorney Edriana Jones is an attorney at Coker, Robb & Cannon, Family Lawyers, working out of the firm's Frisco office and serving clients throughout Collin County, Denton County, Tarrant County, and North Texas. She is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and is a member of the State Bar of Texas.
Attorney Jones's path to family law was a deliberate one. While preparing for the bar exam, she became drawn to the subject's focus on people navigating some of the most difficult transitions in their lives, and she spoke with family law attorneys across the country to confirm the pull she felt toward the work. That same instinct shows up in how she approaches clients: a steady, attentive presence for families working through emotionally significant circumstances.
Prior to joining Coker, Robb & Cannon, Attorney Jones conducted legal research and drafting on employment discrimination law, compiling case materials for a toolkit used by legal professionals and preparing written analysis on regulatory deference standards — work that required her to master an unfamiliar area of law quickly and thoroughly. She also drafted policy guidance on the admissibility of children's statements made during counseling and medical diagnosis, research directly relevant to family law matters involving children.
Attorney Jones holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, magna cum laude, in Accounting from the University of Central Arkansas, where she was a Norbert O. Schedler Honors College Scholar. Her accounting background gives her a practical, numbers-fluent perspective on property division and financial matters in family law cases. A lifelong Texan raised in McKinney, she is fluent in Spanish, allowing her to communicate directly with a broader range of North Texas families.
