Ria Sherman, Legal Assistant and Office Manager

Ria and her family came to Texas from California in 1994. She joined Duane's Legal practice in 2000 and has enjoyed the challenges and rewards of the office's growth. Ria is the go-to person for all things dealing with our office.

Ria assists the attorneys with family law, guardianship, and collaborative law cases. As a legal assistant with over eleven years of experience, she is proud to belong to a firm that goes the extra mile for its clients. Ensuring that their concerns are dealt with quickly and effectively is her goal. If you have a question, just ask her!

When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends cooking, biking, going to ball games or just hanging out. She is an adventurous cook and is always looking for something new to try. Weimaraners have been a part of her family for twenty years. Fourteen year old Champion Tophat's Belladonna, aka Layla, is the couch potato of the family and Kip the Beagle is the family clown.
